"But you cheated!" - I don't care, I was ready to quit playing the game entirely, before I found a save editor tool. Anything under chaos 7 just gets insta-ripped by residual effects alone, I don't even need to attack, just walk into, or teleport into packs and they die instantly.
Chaos 10 can be done too, but it's not really worth it. I burn the god-skill cooldowns on bosses, and with all the stacked damage ticking + phantom blade, and they melt down like they're trash, pretty much, all the way up to chaos 8, and 9 can be done with a decent clear time. I haven't really looked at builds, but this wizard build is very strong, the spammable teleport and stacked residual AOEs make this build have amazing clear speed. This is going to be most enemies, most of the time, best damage increasing amulet. Phase shift amulet, +50% more damage to enemies near you. 50% damage reduction, as long as you got energy reserves, which isn't a problem, because the only skill I got that burns energy is the teleport, but it's manageable. I found Ring of the Veil to be an amazing item for tankiness. Which means it gets buffed even more by Old Ring of Dexterity.
The heroic phantom blade skill hits for big damage, and it's an energy generator.
Also has residual lightning strikes around me that hit for big damage when they do land, in the millions.įor weapons, I used the Phoenix Herald for the fire ring AOE, which pairs well with the residual lightning strikes with the Bel-Korhadris set, ticks also hit in the millions range damage wise.
Once I got full green gear, and used the Bel-Korhadris set, I got spammable teleport like I'm using the Enigma in Diablo 2. It still doesn't rain green items (or even red items) like one would expect with that high of a loot quality mod, but I get 1-2 per map on average. Modified a ring to have 9 million loot quality on it.
